2013 Jr. All-State Games
Player Participation Process:
Participation: All Iowa USSSA players ages 9 - 13 are eligible to try-out to participate in this event. All players must attend a try-out to be selected to participate on the 2013 Iowa Jr. All-State Team. Teams will be formed by the coaches evaluating the players at the try-outs and selecting the top 12 players from each age group 9 - 13. Each player wanting to try-out to participate in the All-State Games must complete and return form along with a $25 try-out fee by June 7th, 2013. SIGN UP NOW (Deadline is June 7th, 2013)

Try-outs: Friday, June 14, 2013 (Iowa Global Sports State Tournament Weekend) James Cownie Sports Complex 10:00pm - 1:00pm Try-out fee: $25
Selection of Team: Head coaches from each age group participating in the Global State Tournament will have the option to evaluate players at try-out and select the 2013 Iowa All-State Team. Players will be tested on base running, hitting, pitching and fielding. Only 3 players may be selected from any one team's roster.
2013 Iowa All-State Games Selected Participants: Each selected player will receive two game jerseys and baseball cap. Each selected player will be listed on the www.iowausssa.com website. Each selected player will receive a 2013 Jr All-State Games plaque. Selected player fee to attend All-State Games: $250 Travel and lodging are player's family responsibility
Coaching Staff: Coaches from each age group will be selected from the order of finish at the 2013 Global Sports State Tournament. Winning team will have the 1st option to be head coach of the All-State Games. 2nd placed team will have the 1st option to be the assistant coach of the All-State Games. These two coaches will have the option of selecting two additional players to be added to the team's roster.

2013 Line Drive Super NIT A, AA and AAA division winners earn paid State Tournament Entry Major division winners earn paid Elite World Series Berth 300 USSSA Points to all division winners
A/AA/AAA Divisions Two pool play games followed by all teams advancing to multiple single elimination championships.
Major Divisions Three pool play games followed by at least one half of teams advancing to a single elimination championship. Prepare to play on Friday as early as 4PM
2013 Global Sports World Series Announcement Modified Double Elimination Championship Format
Starting in 2013, Global Sports World Series championship format has been modified to a double elimination format. Global Sports World Series format includes 4 pool play games followed by multiple modified double elimination championship brackets. Winners from each championship brackets will be crown Global Sports World Series Champion.
